JEE Main 2019 Exam Important Dates

JEE Main 2019 is the top most Engineering Entrance Exam in India.  JEE was previously conducted by CBSE, but from 2019 it would be conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency). JEE id divided into two exams. JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. JEE would now be conducted two times a year- January and Aril 2019. The examination mode is only Online. JEE gives Engineering aspirants admission to various IIT’s, NIT’s and GFTI’s.

   The application process for the January Examination started 1st September and has been closed on 30th September. The editing / correction can be done in the application form till 14th October like photograph, signature etc. This examination would be 8 sittings between April 6 to 20. Candidate can appear only once. JEE has allotted date and time to all the registered candidates. The admit cards for JEE Exam will be allotted on 17th December to all the registered candidates. This is an ALL India level Examination.

Over 1.55 lakh students apply for JEE Main Exam this year. The next slot of Examination of JEE Main would be in the months of April for which the application would start in the month of February. Exam date would be between 6th to 20th April. 

 The result will be declared on 30th April and counselling will be on the month of June.
JEE Advanced, the gateway to admission in 23 IIT’s has released its date to be 19th May. The 2 lac aspirants who pass JEE Main are eligible to sit for JEE Advanced Examination. Candidates can sit maximum of 2 times in 2 consecutive years for this exam.

 JEE Advanced would be Online mode. Time duration of the Examination would be 3 hours. Only the candidates who have passed JEE main can appear for JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced has around 11000 seats to be offered to engineering aspirants. 

Exam pattern is defined for JEE Main but JEE Advanced has no fixed pattern. The candidates who have already rejected the seats of IIT’s in the previous year cannot apply for this.

JEE Main 2019 Exam Notification

National testing agency (NTA) organize JEE Main exam every year to offer admission for BE/B.tech and B.Arch/B.Plan courses in reputed institute like IITs, NITs and CFTIs. Candidates will have to qualify both exam JEE Main and JEE advance if they want admission in IITs and ISM Dhanbad. JEE Main Exam is national level entrance test to take admission in engineering institutes.  Competition in every exam increasing every year. Students need to get good score to take admission in highly qualified institutes. JEE Main 2019 Exam Eligibility:

Age Limit: Candidates who are less than 25 years old are eligible for JEE Main 2019. He/she must have been born on or after 1 Oct 1993.

Relaxation in Age: There is some age relaxation for SC, ST and PWD.

For admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs and CFTIs: Candidates who want to take admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and CFTIs must have at least 75% of marks in aggregate and 65% for SC/ST.

Passing Year: Candidates who have passed in 12th before 2016 are eligible to apply for exam.

Numbers of Attempts: There are only 3 attempts for candidates and attempts limit is same for all categories. There is no relaxation for SC/ST and PWD.

Subjects: Candidates must have physics and mathematics along with one of these subjects Chimstry/Biology/Biotechnology.

JEE Main Exam Application Form 2019:

National testing agency will be releases JEE Main online form from 1 to 30 of September 2018. Registration for exam will be only through online mode. Check here step by step process to fill exam form.

Step 1:  Candidates have to visit NTA official website to fill online form.  First of all candidates must have complete registration process completely.

Step 2: Authentication through Aadhaar Card-Candidate details should be matched with their UID database like name, date of birth address etc.

Step 3: Candidate will fill online application form like Personal, academic, exam related and other detail about the candidate.

Step 4: candidates have to verify his/her email address and mobile number.

Step 5: candidates have to scan their documents like mark sheet of sr. secondary and signature.

Step 6: Candidate have fill online free through netbanking, debit card and other method.

Step 7: Print out the receipt of submitted fee for future reference.

How to Work In Germany after Completing Your Studies

Germany is one of the top countries which offer low tuition fee and accommodation fee to international students as compared to other study abroad destinations. After completing their studies In Germany, many students look forward to staying back in Germany for a job. Germany also gives 18 months visa to look for a job if you can prove to have enough funds for your stay ahead after studies.

So, if you are an international student and planning to work in Germany you should get started with you plans very soon.

Step 1:
List down exactly what are your key skills, what kind of job exactly are you looking for? What kind of company you are looking to join and how much minimum salary should it pay you. Once you have listed down all the main points and you know yourself just get on to the hunt.

Step 2:
Look onto all the potential websites and locations where the jobs are available and shortlist them according to your needs. Do not have a tunnel vision as you might miss something important while just having a look at the jobs which are of your subject, might be the domain is of better interest of yours than your study.

 You can also work for 120 full days or 240 half days as you want while looking for a job. Don’t wait for 18 months to end! You might get into trouble as these months would just fly and if you don’t have a permanent job, you would be asked to leave Germany.

If you take up internship in your semester days, then this is subtracted from your 120 days permit visa. You can earn up to 450 eur per month, over and above it you would receive a tax slip and the salary would be automatically deducted from your salary.

The second step involves a German residence permit, or an EU Blue Card issued after the candidate secures employment in Germany.
Working in Germany is not as tough as it looks, learning German can be an added advantage to have and adjust in the working environment of Germany as you can complete your graduation and masters in Germany in English in Germany but working in Germany with knowing the German can turn out to be an issue for your learning and professional career.

GMAT 2018 Exam-Date, Exam Fee and Pattern

Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a standardized test accepted worldwide by 7100 management courses in various business schools across the world. GMAT Exam is conducted across 600 centers in 114 countries around the world. This a computer adaptive test.  

This is not a computer-based test, it is computer adaptive test, where a candidate is given questions in accordance to the answer he gave for the previous questions, in case he is answering the questions right, the difficulty level of the upcoming questions increases and in case the candidate is giving wrong answers to the questions, the difficulty level decreases. Candidates cannot change the answers once done.

GMAT Dates:

GMAT is open throughout the year. GMAT is conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council. The dates would depend on the centre a candidate chooses. A candidate can appear only 5 times for this examination in a year within a gap of 16 days. The result is declared after almost 3 weeks from the day of examination. The candidate who has scored perfect 800 cannot appear for this examination for the next 5 years.


The examination fee of GMAT is $250 all over the world. In case a candidate wants to reschedule the examination, he would have to pay an additional $50. In case a candidate wants to cancel the examination, they would be charger $80.

GMAT Exam Pattern:

GMAT Examination pattern has remained the same over years. GMAT accesses the ability of a student on 4 criteria.
  •      Verbal reasoning
  •      Quantitative Reasoning
  •         Integrated Reasoning
  •      Analytical Writing Assessment

This examination is of 3 hours and 30 minutes. The total number of questions to be attempted are 80. 36 questions are on Verbal Reasoning, 31 questions are on quantitative reasoning, 12 questions are on integrated reasoning and one question is on Analytical Writing Assessment. This is a national level examination and the average score accepted by universities is between 650-790.

Executive Assessment Exam:

GMAT has introduced a new mini GMAT called Executive Assessment Exam for Executive MBA Course. This exam is just for the students who are willing to pursue E- MBA. The duration of this exam is shorter than normal GMAT.it is formulated only on analytical and logical thinking abilities.

Latest Typical Curriculum Structure for Civil Engineering (UG) as per AICTE 2017

Civil engineering one of the oldest branch of engineering, in fact, it is considered to be the second oldest branch after Military engineering and considered to be one most of the most evergreen branch of engineering as the scope and opportunity of Civil engineers are limitless.
